Serve with purpose.

Volunteers are the heart of The Northcrest Center. Whether you can give an hour a week or a season, your time helps young people grow in faith, character, and confidence.

Ways to Serve

Every program we run depends on caring adults who show up. Find the role that fits your gifts.

🏀

Coaching & Athletics

Assist with basketball practices, games, skill clinics, and team support. Great for anyone with a sports background or a heart for young athletes.

🤝

Mentoring

Build a consistent, encouraging relationship with a young person. Mentors meet regularly and model character, faith, and goal-setting.

📚

Tutoring & Academic Support

Help students with reading, math, and homework during after-school academic sessions. Patience matters more than a teaching degree.

🎉

Events & Community Programs

Lend a hand at community events, family nights, drives, and seasonal programs — setup, registration, hospitality, and more.

🗂

Administrative Support

Support behind the scenes with office tasks, communications, photography, and program organization.

How It Works

Getting started is simple. Here is what to expect after you submit the interest form.

  • 1Submit the volunteer interest form with your areas of interest and availability.
  • 2Our team reaches out to talk through opportunities and answer your questions.
  • 3Complete a volunteer application and background screening.
  • 4Get connected to a program and start serving.
Safety first: Because our volunteers work with children and youth, all volunteers in direct-service roles must complete a background screening before serving. We are committed to providing a safe environment for every child.
